What constitutes a full set?

Featured Replies

What exactly is a full set?

helm, body armor, shield, and legs or skirt?

Is a matching metal weapon necessary? What if it's a set of stuff like the prince outfit or the zombie clothes or the mime outfit?

I'm trying to figure out exactly what to "box up" at the grand exchange in order to save some space.

A secondary question would be...is that even possible? If it's not tradeable, is it not sellable, therefore, not boxable?

There are no boxes for random events outfits since they are not tradeable.

Why doesn't anybody ever read the information Jagex provide on their updates (like, you know, the Knowledge Base) before asking other players to spoon-feed it to them?

I think they do it to have some theme to discuss here :)

Suggestion: You can use Anchor on Waterfiends - is cheap if to compare to GS & effective with crush attack & it hit like Whip.

I didn't find it on the web-site, though I looked for it.

So don't be a jerk about it. This was much quicker than looking through every page of their guide.

Right at the very top of the Knowledge Base article is a HUGE link that says "Item Sets". Seriously, I see no way how anybody could have missed that unless they didn't even bother skimming the KB article.

And I don't think I'm being a "jerk" here. If everybody just took the time to read the info Jagex release with every update, a lot of questions I keep seeing ingame or on forums would simply answer themselves. So I am, in fact, effectively offering "help and advice" ;)

I've had that question in mind for a long time, not jsut since the update came out.

People for a long time would advertise "full addy" or "full rune" and I'd try and buy, but they'd only put up the legs and plate...sometimes it would be legs plate and square shield.

I don't think many people knew what a full set was...SO, my post was more than just for me. Perhaps people would be able to discuss what they'd always considered a full set and inconsistencies would be eliminated.

As for being a jerk...you can convey information without being condescending. For that, and not the information itself, is why I said "don't be jerk".

seriously who actually reads the knowledge base......ive been playing since.....2002-03 and a member of tip.it since 2004 ish and still use this forum to get my questions answered rather than skim the kb.

and instead of saying something along your lines of look before asking a questin...some people dont understand some of the things in the kb...it makes no sense....on the other hand we get people like you on the forums who instead of offering help and advice just complicate the matter more....would it not have been simpler to just answer the persons questions rather than being an [wagon]
