Umoria
Hm...if you can make yew longs, then high alch them. Quick money. You can mine pur ess, go to a world where people are running for runes (nature, law etc.) stand next to the portal and sell the pure. Either you get money or some runes. Sell the runes! Natures are good to sell. "We had gay burglars the other night. They broke in and rearranged the furniture."

You could just aswell do that with runecrafting for way higher profits.
Umoria
Actually it is merchanting. Pay attention Grasshopper! Buy yew logs Make it into yew longs (<--MERCHANT) buy bowstrings(<--FLETCHING) Ad bowstrings to the yew longs(<--FLETCHING) Sell the yew longs (<--MERCHANT) "We had gay burglars the other night. Buy yew logs Make it into yew longs (<--MERCHANT) buy bowstrings(<--FLETCHING) Ad bowstrings to the yew longs(<--FLETCHING) Sell the yew longs (<--MERCHANT) You are using a skill to raise the value. Merchanting means you buy something cheap, and sell the exact same item for a higher price. At least that's my view.

Umoria
But buying something cheap and sell with higher value sounds pretty impossible imo. So you have to use a skill to push up the value. And fletching is not very time consuming. Well, that is if you don't make 2500 yew longs, that is time consuming... "We had gay burglars the other night. They broke in and rearranged the furniture." Fools_Taco
Your post just killed an English teacher. Anyway i suggest you collect snape grass and sell it on the exchange. Sells fast.

Buy yew logs Make it into yew longs (<--MERCHANT) buy bowstrings(<--FLETCHING) Ad bowstrings to the yew longs(<--FLETCHING) Sell the yew longs (<--MERCHANT) "Make it into yew longs" is definitely not merching... Snape grass is definitely a good way to go. You could also merch things to make yew longs instead of making yew longs. Obviously there is a market for the materials.
