Pumpkins and Easter Eggs

Featured Replies

Lately, many people have eaten their pumpkins and eggs just to increase prices. My cousins friend already ate over 10 pumpkins, which sucks because I wanted to buy one. Hopefully, the price will go down so I can get one.

Those people have an IQ under 10. Eating a pumpkin will in no way raise it's price. If you just hold onto several and tell no one about them, it's the same as eating several, but not wasting so much money.

No offense but if you eat a pumpkin, you're pretty stupid... The easiest and frankly anybody with 50 IQ could figure this out, is note them -.- . And like Justcallmedaddy said, 50 people eating a pumpkin wont drive prices up.

Actually, if you buy many pumpkins, an eat them that most certainly WILL dirve the prices up.

Less pumkins= less supply

Less supply = more demand

The look on your face when you accidentally ate the last pumpkin in runescape = Priceless.

Actually, that is almost priceless, what really is priceless is when a litlle psycho beats the crap out of his computer because of that (note the video of the german kid trying to play Unreal Tournament)

On topic, the main point has been said, but I don' t belive the guy ate 10 pumpkins, that' s where I think you' re lying.

Well if you don't believe me, then don't. But, he ate it on purpose, just to increase prices. However, I doubt its working, so it sucks for him. Guess I might buy one soon. I'm just pointing out that it sucks that people are purposely eating these rares.

He lost 60m+ just to make pumpkins go up maybe 500k tops? Worst idea I've seen in a LONG time.

Your friend must not be very bright. This really wouldn't make it any more expensive. Besides, eggs and pumpkins are in low demand compared to Santas/Phats/Masks.

Why did he eat them? He could have just kept them in his bank and told no one.

Buyin 3k pure ess.PM or post here if selling

He didn't eat 10 pumpkins.

Eating a pumpkin would be the dumbest thing ever - what's the difference between eating them or just storing them in your bank? To other people it's exactly the same thing, except one you are promised to lose money, the other you still have a chance to sell them again and not look like an idiot.

No..... less supply doesn't necessarily mean more demand. It just means that the price gets higher.

Less supply DOES mean more demand because with they're being less people are going to want to sell for a higher price.

Why couldn't he simply let the pumpkins rot in his bank?? It was stupid of him to waste like 60mil when he could get the same effect by never selling them..

You contradicted yourself there.

Less pumpkins will make the price higher, but it wouldn't necessarily increase the demand for pumpkins...

Less pumpkins in runescape=an increase in rarity

An increase in rarity=an increase in price.

However, this doesn't mean that the general public wants to buy more pumpkins.. In fact, the demand will decrease and thus the number of potential buyers will decease as well, perhaps more so because of the high price.

Take party hats for example. Pretty desirable, right? Yet, how many people do you actually see selling/buying a party hat?

Take coal for example. Very cheap compared to the price of a party hat. However, it is a useful raw material that many people need for training skills. Thus, the market for coal is much more lively than the market for party hats.

Demand for coal>demand for a party hat
