Well it depends on the scenario, can you give us more info on what/where you want to use them?

for say like slayer tasks?

 

or just killing quest bosses etc?

what im mainly getting at is what is more usfull extra offensive bonuses or the deffensive bonuses?

Rune defender is very nice especially the 20+ slash bonus really goes good with a whip.

I would say a rune defender.

Well I'm lvl 95 and I have both.

 

 

 

 

 

For slayer tasks 75+ (about) I always use obby sheild to minimize the amount of food needed. All tasks below 75 I bring rune defender because I can kill them faster.

 

 

 

My Usual setup is

 

 

 

Helm of neitiznot

 

Fighter Torso

 

Torags legs

 

Whip

 

Rune def/obby sheild

 

 

 

And dboots glory etc.

 

 

 

So If it was a really high level, I would replace torso with Torag's plate and defender with obby.

 

 

 

Vice versa for lower levels.
