I had a little debate with someone in the clan chat and we were talking about prices of nats going down because of summoning with the addition of life runes, and then him being cmb 125 told him 91 RCers make 1m+ a hour and slayer does not, of course i know nothing about slayer =[) and he left so im coming on here to ask you, how can slayer make more money then 91 RCers because i don't see how it's possbile to get 1m+ loot per hour, i mean abbys dark beasts etc. are rare drops which average to much less than 1m a hour, so am i right or is he wrong?

 

 

 

It takes around 180 hours using zmi to get to 91 r from 75, i was wondering how long does it take to get to a level where slayer becomes more profitable than 91 RCing (if it even is)

 

 

 

I'm starting to reconsider rcing with the whole summoning coming out because he thinks prices could even drop to 260ea, i'll make my final decision when summoning comes out, however i just want some answers as to how slayer can be more profitable and also how long does it take (or what level) to get more money than 91 RCingg.

91 rc is a stable way of income, and Its not like nats will go down alot.

if the skill is boring, it's worse imo slayer is fun and that way is more profitable

Guess that's a good point, so what part is actually the most profitable 90 for dark beasts? =S i don't really think dark beasts are the most profitable TBH dont see many poeple doing it.

Slayer is not a stable money maker, but if you're lucky you can get good drop and good clue reward. Its not about camping at abyss or dark beast, its about getting you slayer level up. Set a level, for example you're 70 slayer, get 75. Just keep your all your and you'll see how much you get. Then imagine getting 99.

Slayer isn't a stable money maker, runecrafting is, even if nature runes DO drop by a bit, it's still stable, but slayer is more about luck with drops, I'd suggest nature runes, my opinion though.

It CAN be, for example, d boots. I made about 15 on the first day off them - that's way more than rc, but that was a one off because of a recent release.

 

 

 

On a good day i had a d leg drop, whip drop, and a few mauls in the same day which is maybe comparable to rc, but that was also a one off.

 

 

 

In general theres no way, NO way it's more profitable, with the exceptions of new monsters being put in the game for a few days.

 

 

 

However, slayer is alright money, and people tend to find it more enjoyable so...
