Def potting pointless with prayer?

Just wanted to be sure: There's no point of using a def super potion when using protect from melee, right? O:)

You can't be hurt if the monster you're attacking is only using melee attacks, so then it's useless.

it depends on the monster. Some monsters like mithril dragons have multiple attack styles, so sup. def. pot does help. However, for traditional melee only monsters, just use prayer.
