Nom
Not everyone's a weaboo, dontcha know -_-'. I think I see an irony there. . . an intentional pun. . . perhaps. But yeah, Japanese is good for business, and I would recommend French over Spanish. 'Cause really, the majority of the paÃÆÃâÃâÃÂses de hispanohablantes are in South and central America, and it's not likely you'll be doing business there. BlueLancer
I sort of regret picking up Japanese, because Chinese is where it's at when it comes to usability. When we're all like 40-50, China will be more powerful than the US, it will have a bigger economy, stronger military & technology, it will have about 2 billion people (about 1/4th of the world population by then) speaking mostly Mandarin. Not to say Japanese isn't a nice language too. :) But it's spoken by far less people than Chinese.

deloriagod
Honestly, I've never had any luck learning a language from a website. I've always found being in a classroom is the best way. I've taken enough spanish to get me through a visit to Mexico, I'm taking my first year of French atm and it's going well, and because I'm taking karate (tang soo do) I have to learn Korean; fortunately it's spoken a lot in class so it's fairly easy to pick up. If you really want to learn Japanese, I'm sure a local college offers a course. I know there's a college in my city that allows high school students to attend classes and my school will even pay if the class isn't offered through them.
