Staking

Featured Replies

Correct me if i'm wrong, but soon we will not be able to trade in an unbalanced way, 3k +/- the market value of the item.

X is worth 100k so i have to offer 103k or 97k

Could Jagex not therefore re-introduce staking, enforcing their balanced trade (staking) policy on staking?

For example

A stakes a D scimmi, B has to stake 97-103k

If there is a determined market price for all items in Runescape that can be applied to trading in general, then why can't it be applied to staking?

I think this would be a way to bring staking back without having the covert transference of money between RWT and cheats.

This way, people will actually be able to stake again, and show less discontent with Jagex.

I'm sure there is something wrong with this idea though, because it was far too easy to think of.

What do you think?

what about these RWT sites having a requirement that you own 1mill gp to stake against 1mill gp? :P

wont work cause of that^^

i dont understand

They wont, because they are trying to control what you earn on RuneScape and what the prices are they feel the power of god and have gone mad.

^^ good point..

Wouldn't work, the gold seller and the gold buyer could both put up the same amount of gp but the gold seller could let the buyer win, thus re-enabling RWT.

oh right yeah it wouldnt work, forget it.

Then let them, id rather have rmts ruin the game then the games creators.

To be honest i never cared about macroers, they play there game, i play mine, my gameplay was barely affected.

Macros were like a beesting..

Jagex's latest updates were like a mouthful of spit to the face and a dagger in the back simultaniously, followed by andrew defacating on my remains, much the same as he has on runescape.

It will still limit a lot of gold buying though, as players that are buying gold tend not to have any right?

Not always, I'd think.

I want jagex to put resource dungeons and dungeoneering skill doors to dungeoneering floors so I can dungeon and get dungeoneering xp while I dg so I don't have to dg to get dg exp, but I can dg while I dg :)?

Yea.. the RWTers could just play "double your money" from whatever amount you start with...

going from about only 100k would only take like 3-4 steps to transfer 1mil...

And most people have over 100k, even if they offered their entire bank (which RWTers would do)
