New Changes That Allow For Old Runescape Without RWT's

Well here's my suggestions to the new updates. Im not a member anymore so i cant post on the forums.... I feel that they are not going to remove these updates because that would mean that RWT's would still be out there so i changed things that would prevent them in my mind. I dont know if it could happen or anything or if these would actually work but here they are.... :D

 

 

 

New Real World Trading solution

 

 

 

As we all know from the new updates, Jagex has taken many loved features of Runesape and killed them. We can no longer do many things we used to because of Real World Trading. Well, my new ideas, I hope, will help stop RWT, but be able to still to the things we love such as pking and trading.

 

 

 

Please note: My numbers included in my suggestions are not permanent. They can be changed

 

 

Player to Player Trading

 

 

 

My first method of solution, is Credit system. You start out with 3 million credits. Whenever you trade for anything, the difference in the trade in money is reflected in your credit. Credit is necessary if you want to get a good deal on anything. So say you trade for something and you are saving 50k totally. What happens is when you trade the items, you will lose 50k in your credit to be down to 2.95 million credits and the person that is losing 50k in the trade gains 50k in their credit putting them at 3.05 million credits.

 

 

 

Now say you want to give a friend a Christmas present to a friend or just a plain gift that is 2 million gp worth. Your credit will rise 2 million while your friendÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s credit goes down 2 million. Though you may be asking, ÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅWell Gbpackers31!! The only problem I have is the dirty item idea. You know pkers will hang around those spots, making it harder for rwts of course, but also making it more difficult for the real pkers. If you know people will be walking by wiht 30k of items soon, you'll want to hang around there to kill them.

I also have a thread here in Bugs & Suggestions that have some new solutions to change the new updates to more player-friendly ones that still do the job Jagex want them to do, get rid of the RWT:s.

 

 

 

But your ideas with the dirt bag first of all is great. If we can do the total opposite of what Jagex now did with pk:ing it would be great for pk:ers (I myself have never done pk:ing, nor will I ever, I just don't personally like it as a playing style for myself).

 

 

 

If we could instead of killing off pk:ing, reward them by giving them real targets to kill, like the RWT:s going to clean their dirty items and gold. Pk:ers would never run out of targets in the beginning as RWT:s would really hate that change but they would still try to deal with and go up there cleaning their stuff. And there the pk:ers will be getting good drops and such. RWT:s would soon be really fed up with this and just stop doing it and find another game to harrass (as we all know they want to make money and if they can't they will move on very soon). If for some remote possibility there will not be any pk:ers to wait for these RWT cleaners the revenant monsters will surely do the job anyway.

 

 

 

The only problem I see with this is that real pk:ers would get dirty items as drops from the killed RWTs and then they have to get the items cleaned themselves and with pk:ers around they would likely be killed themselves trying to get the stuff from the RWTs cleaned. So it would be very hard for a legit player to clean stuff too. I don't know how to work around that.

 

 

 

But I like the orginality of the Dirt Bag idea! If you could solve that problem I adressed it could work well I think.

Oh wow i never even thought about pkers around the cleaners!! How dumb of me!! Ill have to think of a solution today hopefully and maybe post it to see what you think... :D

Ok Ive thought it over for the day and have come up with a few sloutions to fix pkers from killing off the people with the dirty items that are not rwters

 

 

 

1- Make the area surrounding the cleaners unpkable. This of course is very dumb and people would hate this so its pretty much not going to do anything. Just wanted to throw it out there

 

 

 

2- Make dirty items nontradeable and so you cannot pick up the dirty items. This method would be alright I think for pkers because they wont be able to get all their dirty items, but then it might make people mad because normally those "dirty items" before would be included in the drops...

 

 

 

3- Sort of like number 1 but with a twist. The cleaners say are inside a rock circle which you must click to hop over the rocks. Inside the rock circle it will be unpkable. You can still get pked putside but not as easily.

 

 

 

4- There would be an agility shortcut that requires very high agility/strength/other skills to reach the cleaner without having to worry about getting pked. This would be kind of like the abyss where you can get in using skills, but this will not require the items such as a tinderbox and such, but will require high levels in the skill

 

 

 

5-There would be a new teleport spell that would directly teleport you to the cleaner (where you would be safe?) This spell would require high magic so rwts wouldn't spend the time and money leveling up magic to get it...

 

 

 

I will take any suggestions! These will be posted up at the original post as well...

After spending (giving away) 3m, they can just make another character, and sell another 3m.

... I dont understand what you are saying... why would you buy 3 million gp just to make another account...???? That would be so stupid... you couldn't put them all together also because you would need credit back....

 

 

 

Also, my numbers that I have are not set in stone. They can be changed. I just chose 3 million to have a fairly high number for those who want to give gifts and get good deals without being at 0 right away.
