Runecrafting "spell"

While making a thousandth or ten thousandth trip from the Varrock east bank to Aubury's magic shop in order to mine rune essence, I had a thought.

 

 

 

Wouldn't it make sense to have one of the benefits of reaching 99 runecrafting that you could wear the skillcape then type in 'Senventior disthine molenko!" and no matter where you were, you could access the runecrafting site?

 

 

 

I think this needs to be done. Granted...it'll take me a long time to get that far, but once you get to 99, it would make sense to make it easier to mine it for the truly dedicated.

you do realise there are more places than just the varok area to get to the rune ess mine....

 

 

 

mage guild...ardy(cant spell real name lol)... Gnomes(after or during quest) and a few others but there is atleast 6 of them....

 

 

 

one of the mini-quests is the one that unlucks the abbys, you need to go to 4 differnt rune ess teleport locations to fill up the orb you are given

I dont belive that that is his point. I belive that what he means is that at lvl 99 you should be able to teleport to the ess mine and save time to get the runes, am I correct?

 

 

 

It seems good, but the only problem I see is that if you were in a dangerous place, you could just type that and be teleported to the mine. Maybe if it happened, it should be done with only full health. also, maybe a cooldown would be nice to prevent it from being incredibly overused, or even used to get the random event. Also, there should be an option to where you teleport to.

Perhaps make it like the Lumbridge Home Teleport. Takes a pretty long time and is interrupted by combat.

 

And if there isn't already a way to operate the skill cape, make it so you have to operate it to teleport.

Well, this would make it easier. But don't most people just buy their essence?

 

If you want to mine it yourself, however, this would be very helpful.

I suppose having a cool down would be what they'd do, but I was thinking more along the lines of having mastered runecrafting, you should be able to get the rune essence easier.

 

 

 

Maybe if you have both mining and runecrafting at level 99 you could use that spell (since you're actually mining it at that place)?

 

 

 

And for the person that asked...yes I do realize that there are other places, but first, I'm F2P and second, that's the quickest place for me to mine that stuff.

 

 

 

Also, for the person who mentioned buying it...I'm not one of those people who buys skills. I figure that rather than power mine or something else I should do the skills in order to help other skills, like mine my own iron and coal to make steel to smith.
