Revants + Runecrafting = losing items?

Well Revants and gravestone came on the same time and I wonder if the 2(3,4,5) minute rule apply if a revant kill me as it's a npc. I'm afraid of losing pouches.

I think that timeframe is applicable to all deaths, whether in the "old wild" or by a non-wild monster.

I wonder about this myself as pouches were lost on death no matter what, even if they were the only 3 things you were carrying ...does anyone know if the new gravestones allow you to keep pouches, or do you still have to drop them before you die in order to save them?

oh well..thanks for that...will have to drop them by where I die so I can find them easily enough if the situation ever arises.

Essence pouches are easily replaced if you go to the alternative Abyss plane via Fairy Code A-L-R. So far I have yet to bump into any revenant whenever I go to the Zamorak mage to enter the Abyss. I don't think this is something you should lose sleep over. :D

It's easy, but sometimes takes hours. Plus the abyss monsters have really high attack.. So you get hit a LOT. :|

Ice bursting in normal abbys yields all pouches in about 3 minutes. Thanks for answers.
