December 19, 200718 yr I think his question is the opposite, if he kills the correct person (his target) does he still gain any of the negative consequences that one would normally have for killing the wrong person. No, I think you can leave right away and still use Protect Item.

December 19, 200718 yr You will be alvays able to leave via caves as long as you don't kill anyone not your target. And same affects whether or not you can protect your super item with prayer. Long live the mighty runite warhammer, the only guardian defending f2p from overpower of tank pures!
