December 23, 200718 yr Hey everyone. I'm looking for a really good Hunter guide from the AOW or something that will help me find quick ways to gain experience and level up. I just started Hunter today and I'm only level 9, but the training seems to be going very slow. What are some quick ways to get to about level 30 Hunter? Thank you! Retired Member
December 23, 200718 yr Author From 1-30 I'd just catch birds. Should I just stick to one kind or should I hunt the best bird I can at the time? Retired Member
December 23, 200718 yr Well if you don't mind moving around, then do the best bird you can do. If you want to stay in the same area just do Crimons to 19 then Tropicals to 30.
December 23, 200718 yr Author Alright, thanks for the advice. Right now I'm just going after Copper Longtails but my Bird Snare fails about 80% of the time. Does your level determine how often it succeeds, or does it just depend on the bird? Because if level effects the success rate of catching a bird, I might just stick with Crimson Swifts rather than going to the next best bird. Thanks again. Retired Member

December 23, 200718 yr Well your level definitely determines how fast you catch Red Chins because I'm catching them much faster now that I'm 85 than when I was 63 (even with 4 traps). So I'm pretty sure this would mean the same for all hunting creatures.
December 23, 200718 yr Hunt birds until you can do tracking. Do tracking until you can hunt green salamanders. Do green salamanders until you can do falconry. Keep with falconry until you can do orange salamanders. Do orange salamanders until you can do red salamanders. Do red salamanders until you can hunt red chins. Do red chins from 63-99. That the basic steps I went through. I am unsure of the exact levels but it was on a guide. I don't thing it was a AOW guide but it was on this site I believe. Use the search feature of the forums and copy and paste this: +hunter +guide Now that I think about it the guide was called 1-99 hunter in 2 weeks. Something like that. Apparently, my signature was to big.
