Becoming a member soon, a little help?

Alright, well I'm becoming a member soon and I'd like a little help with planning. I've got a great friend who has taught me some money making techniques so I'm good in that area but;

Skill related questions:

Does the Zmi altar require pure ess? Or can I use regular ess and just get the regular ess runes?

How many Nats do you make on average per hour (through the abyss and/or not through abyss)?

How many Cosmics can you make an hour (none abyss method)?

Quickest way to level 46-55 mage?

And the quickest way to level 30-40 smithing?

Grand Exchange related questions:

The minimum offer and maximum offer would be nice, or just the auto one.

Price of:

Flax?

Bow strings?

Dragon bones?

Dragon axe?

Mage logs?

That's all I can think of for now.. Thanks

You need PURE essense for ZMI alter, its not that great xp until maybe 60+. Before that, fire runes with dueling rings is faster and cheaper.

Since you're joining members, how about doing quests? There are over 100 quests in the game and I think you'll be selling yourself short by not completing them. Many of the quests unlock very important and/or special areas that allow you to train certain skills more efficiently and give you a nice quiet place to train.

Some of these quests include, "Priest in Peril", "Shades of Mort'ton", "Fairy Tales part 1", "Mourning's End part 1", "The Grand Tree", "Shilo Village Quest", "Hero's Quest" and "Legend's Quest". Many of the quests that I've suggested unlocks some vital member features, which many players have ignored and are unaware of the benefits. Of course, these quests have many requirements, both in various skill levels and previous quests, which are too many to list here.

I would like to offer some extra advice, as someone kindly answered all of your queries in one post!

If you plan to become a member for one month only, then I recommend only leveling F2P skills, using the members worlds fantastic training locations, as if you never become P2P again, who can never hold the title of a completly pure F2P player.

BUT. If you are planned on a 12 month+ membership then just take your time, try and get all the members skills up to around 45 to unlock essential benifits, do a few important quests then get back to your normal routine, again using all the great extra facilities.

On another note: Do you remember me from a while back?

I Quit. You should too.

Doing enough of fairy tales part 2 is a good idea (no skills invloved to get far enough) to use the fairy rings which will make your life so much easier, faster and cheeper by saving on law runes. To do members quests though you will need members skills, but most can be done with 40's in the member skills.
