training mining

alright i have a fairly low mining level (62) i cant stand the skill but i want to train it up a bit. should i mine coal or iron?

Maybe power mine iron. Mine the iron, drop the ores and repeat.

 

 

 

Coal is much slower compared to iron.

Hmm, I see that you're a member. Do you have access to Lunar spells?

 

 

 

For Iron, there's the place close to Ardounge. Al Kharid mine has a nice spot too.

 

 

 

But since you're a member, fastest would be to power mine granite instead in the desert.

When in the desert (For power mining granite) there's a spell called humidify that refils all your waterskins for a few runes. Just bring a few casts of humidify (pregerably alot :P ), a couple of waterskins, not too many (frequent dropping) or too few (frequent casting) and mine, drop and repeat. Humidify when you need to. Search player made guides if you want, I think I remember a guide on it.

If you want to go down the Iron Route, you can mine iron in the Cave Goblin place down Lumbridge Cellar. One of the Goblins there will take all the iron off your hands and pay you a little bit, saving the need to drop all your ores.
