Herblore help

Featured Replies

I'm wondering what the best way to train herblore and break somewhat even is. I'm willing to spend all my money on it. Hopefully over 40 mil once I finish getting 2 visages (hopefully).

Any ideas?

eh i don't think there is a way to break even anymore. The best thing you should do is buy seeds make herbs then make pots and sell. This way you can earn farming exp as well and get more herbs.

I don't skill much anymore so i can't tell you what to buy but from what i seen some of my 99 herb friend do, is simply buy ranarr seeds(20k at the time), grow them then take em out with magic sateurs for 5(they were 5kea at the time) so he saved 5k on each 5 he got. Then made pots and resold for 2kea while buying snape grass at 1kea. This gave a profit if he sold pots at 7k ea and evened if he sold 6kea.

^just an idea to try now.

I think super sets might be good too but not sure cause pking is sorta dead. I hear rumors saying its comming back but not sure, so if it comes back and you got pots your in buisness. Still you can try these or just plain super attack (lv45).

good luck on 99 heb if you try going for it instead of a high herblore, its a very nice skill cape.

~Jim Morrison Cape > Herblore Cape! I've heard Serum 207's are popular. I did all of my training before the GE, so i assume you buy the stuff from in here. (That would account for the high price of Ashes, i guess.) Otherwise, you're going to lose, big time. You could always Farm your own Toadflax, buy/get the Nests from Misc., and make Brews. With that method, you'd actually profit. Even with Farming your own Toads and buying the Nests, you profit nicely.~

Plant some herb seeds, pick the herbs, make the pots, sell, and you'll make a lil profit. And meanwhile as the herbs grow, you can train another skill :)
