Higher F2P Trading & Staking Cap

I don't see why. In fact I don't care about the staking limit, there go my rune pure plans but it's too bad - at least we go friendly dueling. But I'd sure give back bankspace and the duel arena to get there trade to be unlimited again and therefore I support this.

By the way, I can't get members - deal with it. It may be a tiny 5$ (well, a little more than that here in Canada), but what makes you think my parents will let me?

[Edit] Scratch that. I just nagged my mother enough to get members...

Matt: You want that eh? You want everything good for you. You want everything that's--falls off garbage can

Camera guy: Whoa, haha, are you okay dude?

Matt: You want anything funny that happens, don't you?

Camera guy: still laughing

Matt: You want the funny shit that happens here and there, you think it comes out of your [bleep]ing [wagon] pushes garbage can down, don't you? You think it's funny? It comes out of here! running towards Camera guy

Camera guy: runs away still laughing

Matt: You think the funny comes out of your mother[bleep]ing creativity? Comes out of Satan, mother[bleep]er! nn--ngh! pushes Camera guy down

Camera guy: Hoooholy [bleep]!

Matt: FUNNY ISN'T REAL! FUNNY ISN'T REAL!

this tomic made me a little mad, that right after you get the deul arena you beg for it to be better, you should be happy you evan got it.

idc about bots, they never do anything i do, but it seems like f2p begs for everything, i was a f2p i didnt beg or care about bank space i just sold my extra stuff, i would be happy we got deuling, so jsut dont stake if you dont like the prices

Ok, what the hell was that? Did someone take a hammer and bash your fingers in so you can't type right or something? If they didn't I think I might use that as a punishment. Ok, the tomic thing could be a type-o. Wait, how could it be if the m is all the way down near the space bar, but, the p is all the way up near the backspace key. Either you plain [developmentally delayed] and just mash the keyboard with your good ol' sausage fingers hoping you hit the right keys.

So, apparently you read the title, and like the thick skulled infant ogre you are, you just saw the word F2P and started having a fit. Honestly, we like the duel arena, but, we would just like some changes to it. Duh we are grateful and happy we got it. It is like getting a free taco from taco bell on that day where they give them away. Of course you are glad you got a free taco, but, say the taco tastes like someone wiped their [wagon] on the lettuce and put 5x the normal amount of salt in there to cover it up. Do you think that person is going to say, oh well, I got it for free. I know quite a few people would try to get a new one because of the poor quality.

And, who is Evan? You just randomly started talking about some Evan guy in the middle of your post. Wait, it isn't a person named Evan, it is you being a moron and misspelling even. Even seems like a word that even a second grader should be able to spell. Hell, the spanish teacher's toddler knows how to spell even. Are you smarter than a toddler? I think you gave me the answer.

Ok, so, you don't care about bots because they never do anything you do. So, I assume you mean they don't compete with you for training spots and whatnot. But, they do influence you whether you know it or not. Honestly, there is no way you can play runescape without in some way being affected by bots.

This isn't begging. This thread is suggesting that we get a higher trading/staking cap. Out of curiosity, how high of a level did you get in F2P. It doesn't seem like you even experienced F2P that long. We sell our extra items to get additional spaces. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough. The answer was obvious. More bank space.

However, the bank space update is said and done. It has happened, it isn't an issue anymore. Don't make an [wagon] of yourself and make it an issue. I am curious why you started talking about bank space in the first place. It isn't even relevant to this discussion. This is about the trading/staking cap. Not bank space! Your like that moron f2ph8er, or jacklecrawl or whoever who started talking about Abraham Lincoln in the middle of the thread.

Now that we have established that, we are just suggesting that the trading/staking cap is higher. The trading cap is much more important to me and, I am sure, many of the other supporters here. I am going to repeat myself here because you just brought up something I just rebutted. We are happy that we got the update. It said that on the first post, and, if you pull your god damned head out of your own [wagon] for 5 seconds, get out from under the rock your living under and actually look at any of the threads or talk to any of F2P player, you would know that they are happy that they got this update. I know they probably wouldn't want to talk to you for long, because your an annoying pain in the [wagon] who gets his perverted jollies out of prancing around saying that F2P players don't deserve any of these updates.

I am going to come back to the fact that you don't capitalize your I's or use apostrophes. I want to bash you over the head with the stupid hammer (wouldn't have a negative effect on you because you are already too stupid for it to effect you) until you get the fact you should use proper English in a forum. Hell, at least try. Trying is better than not trying. I would much rather see a guy at least making an attempt.

Ok, so, it looks like that just about sums it up. This is about trading mainly, not staking. The Staking cap is a minor part of this. I would still like it, but, I am more interested in the Trading cap. Seeing how they go together, you can't exactly separate them.

Have I ever told you you're my freakin' hero? If I haven't... now you know.

The thread isn't a "Wah!!! Jagex iz not gimme teh stoofs 4 phree an I wantz it" kind of thread. The point of this thread was to say that it's impossible for a f2p player to trade/stake over 3k, no matter how long they've been playing, the amount of levels they've gained, or the amount of experience they've gotten. I'm sure that alot of f2p players have played longer, worked alot harder, and followed the rules better than alot of p2p players. Yet, since there are only 39 quest points available to f2p players, they apparently haven't proven that they are trustworthy to Jagex. Players like Syzygy, who more than likely better than 99% of the players who read this, can't trade more than 3k, but the level 50 who has been a member for 2 months, walking around in his HAM robs and bone spear, can trade easily 2 times as much.

Now tell me who deserves more trust, the almost maxed out f2p player with 39 quest points or that level 50 who payed 10 bucks, has maybe 2 million overall experience, and managed to get 70 quest points out of the almost 250 possible?

Lets take a look at our nooby level 50 friend over there, yes he payed but does that really make him the more trustworthy and dedicated player? Not at all. Lets now take a look at Syzygy. Hmm? 14 out of a possible 15 stats at 99, the other being 98. 284 million overall experience, 142 times more than that level 50. What does this prove you ask? I'll tell you. Quest points are simply not a good way to judge trust.

This is true not just for f2p, but for members too. Again I will make a comparison.

Player 1 is a pretty good player, with around 1500 total levels, 25 million experience, a combat level of 90, and has been playing for 1 year. Her favorite thing to do since day 1 has been to quest. After she completed all the f2p quests, they decided they wanted to do more, and became a member. She got herself a nice quest cape, and was happy.

Player 2 is a great player, a total level of around 1900, a few 99's, about 90 million experience, a combat level of 115, and has been playing for almost 3 years. He had never really been a fan of doing quests, instead preferring to train. He managed 900 total and 90 combat in f2p, and then decided to be a member. At this point he had 25 quest points. Once he became a member he had 8 more skills to train, he didn't want to waste any time with questing. He did the quests he needed to do to skill efficiently, and no more, leaving him with around 100 quest points.

Now we come to player 3. She's been with runescape since the very beginning, and after 7 or so years of playing, she has finally gotten that final 99 to max out her total level. She has 550 million exp. She had always loved everything about the game, combat, skill, and quests. She got herself membership as soon as it was available and has been paying ever since. Since then she has finished every quest, almost as soon as it came out.

Now lets take a look at this all three of these players. Should player 1 have a higher trade limit simply because she likes to quest and he does not? Should player 1 get to trade the same amount as player 3, even though player 3 has been playing 7 times longer? Infact, should player 3 be restricted in her trading at all?

A better way of determining the trade limit should be through total experience in relation to total level and combat, such as:

(X/Y)*((Z/Y)*100)

Where X is equal to total experience, Y is equal to total level and Z is equal to combat level.

Yes I went overboard and off topic... oh well :-k

Unor..

Omg..

What's done is done, wont go back.

Jagex > Us. K?

Get over it :P

Do you not realize how many people like you thought the More F2P Bankspace Campaign would fail and yet - look! we've gotten 8 more spaces.

And that's not enough?

Youre free to play. You pay NOTHING you deserve NOTHING. It may sound harsh but it's the truth.

Boy, I thought when people said not to give f2p bank space because it would be like, 'Give an inch and they ask for a mile.'

I was wrong.

Jagex's system was there for a reason, macroers. With this there are no scammers, no gold farmers, etc. It'll get better over time just wait. Although maybe you may get a higher limit, to be honest you do not deserve it.

'Kay. Let's see for the ads. I just want y'all to list the things Jagex does for F2P, and then get an idea of it's cost to compare it with the approximate profit from ads (considering an ad is 7 cents per view, let's not consider clicking on the ads, because that number is pretty volatile). Then, we'll see whether or not we deserve an update or not. Let's make a list:

-Bug fixes

-Query thing service, I forgot the name. They don't reply very often, but they do read it.

Please continue that list, so that people FINALLY stop saying "you don't deserve jack".

They should devise some sort of way togive free to play a way to go further over the trading cap... because, even with members and all the quest points, 30k is insignificant, so it wouldn't hurt too much to give that - somehow - to free to play.

First I thought that this might undo the whole RWT control idea, but 30k every fifteen minutes is still slow and insignificant, but who knows, I still think that might be a problem.
