It can be good too. I switched schools and people are much nicer on the school where I'm now. On my previous school people would look weird at you if you walked in certain areas of the playground -.- ...

if you want to make friends try doing something funny to a teacher or someone... my lil bro did it and he got about 4 buddies on his 1st day
