Everything will be alright. ^_^

I've gone to three different schools in my life and I'll be starting college this fall. It's tough for a few days while you're trying to get used to things, but you'll get to the point where you don't feel nervous about going to your new school.

Last year I went from homeschool to school for the first time. But I was already friends with about half my grade, so it doesn't count. Anyway, you probably won't die, at least.

If you didn't know anyone, I think that would be really hard. I don't really know that well, I've never been homeschooled, where I live you need a liscense. Check my location.

Excellent motivation!

Though I can't give any better as I have only gone to two schools in my life, my elementary school and my middle school. But don't worry dude, usually everyone wants to make friends with the new kid in school. And I'm not kidding. :o

Wanna know what's worse than moving to a new school?

...Moving to a new school... In a language you hardly know! Yes, that was my fate this fall.

Oh my gosh...that really, really sucks #-o

You'll get used to it eventually....changing schools always sucks.

I'm done it twice...sucked both times :(

:( I like school.

Don't reinforce his point.

Anyways, I changed schools every 2 years from 2nd grade until 7th. Oh and then highschool, which was a different one than all my friends were going to, if that counts. It's not that bad, you'll find friends. You might have to do so with threats, but you will.

if you want to make friends try doing something funny to a teacher or someone... my lil bro did it and he got about 4 buddies on his 1st day

Yea, like bring a nightstick and try to"break open the pinata", if you know what I mean

Works especially well with a fat teacher

I can see how that would have a great outcome.

The teacher hates you the first day.

You could possibly get in trouble.

The "buddies" are probably trouble makers, or hang out with trouble makers.

Wow, what a great way to kick off the school year.

Notice how it says funny and not annoying. Teacher's are humans who enjoy humor too.

Any life change is going to be difficult... especially one of such magnetude. Until a person is no longer in school it serves as your principle identifier socially, economically and in many ways emotionally.

Beeing a part of a certain school gives a person a place in the world irregardless of anything else. However being forced to transition from one place in the world to another is always painful. You will probably find that you feel simmilar anxiety when you enter the work force and move from one job or company to another. It's just part of being human, and to some extent it is something that we all have to find ways of coping with. (Some people cope more readilly then others but nobody gets off completely free)

"He is no fool who gives up that which he can not keep to gain that which he can not lose."

--Jim Elliot

"You must picture me alone in that room in Magdalen, night after night, feeling, whenever my mind lifted even for a second from my work, the steady, unrelenting approach of Him whom I so earnestly desired not to meet. That which I greatly feared had at last come upon me. In the Trinity Term of 1929 I gave in, and admitted that God was God, and knelt and prayed: perhaps, that night, the most dejected and reluctant convert in all England. I did not then see what is now the most shining and obvious thing; the Divine humility which will accept a convert even on such terms. The Prodical Son at least walked home on his own two feet. But who can duly adore that love which will open the high gates to a prodigal who is brought in kicking, struggling, resentful, and darting his eyes in every direction for a chance of escape? The words compelle intrare, compel them to come in, have been so abused by wicked men that we shudder at them; but, properly understood, they plumb the depth of the Divine mercy. The hardness of God is kinder than the softness of men, and His compulsion is our liberation."

--C.S.Lewis
