January 5, 200818 yr Well just hope it only happens once, sometime windows will correct it, restart and just play on if you get it again google it and there are many scanners and tools to help correct it. - Twitter | RuneScape FB Group | My PC
January 5, 200818 yr It basically means you're using up all your virtual memory (a system used to aid the efficiency of RAM) and it's using some of your disk space to make up for the loss. Try not to run too many memory-consuming applications at once to avoid this. It may help you if you delete some of your Startup registry keys. That can be done using a program called CCleaner. It's a safe download. It's possible to do it manually but I've found this the simplest way to do it. Don't delete any Windows processes - only programs. This can reduce the virtual memory strain on your system at startup, hopefully solving your problem. Good luck!
January 5, 200818 yr To increase virtual memory do this: hold windows key + pause break advanced tab settings in performance section advanced tab click change in virtual memory click custom size, set it around 1500mb for the initial and maximum. Whatever number you choose, make sure the initial and maximum size are the same. If you are running out you may need to cut down on running programs or maybe get more ram.
January 7, 200818 yr Put it 1.5 times as much ram you have. And put it on a different partition than you got windows on. Put like 2-50mb on the windows drive so windows can use some.
