Am i doing somthing wrong? any tips on how to catch butterflies?

If your going for XP, NEVER do butterflies. They're horrible. If your doing it for the stat boosting.. you'll have to get over it =l

Butterflies are only good for one thing: Setting them on fire for your personal amusement

Wait, can you really do that?

Yeah, I gave up hunting butterflies and moved onto birds and weasels and when I had the level, chinchompas.

Nah, I just wanted to say something funny/sarcastic.

But you CAN burn those pesky moths outside. They bite real hard. >.<

I'm fairly sure they suffered a change recently, so they're much harder to catch now. I used to multi-task while hunting (e.g. setting bird snares and hunting butterflies) for faster exp, but it seems it isn't worth it now. If you want experience, I'd suggest you to hunt something else.

I'm guessing you are annoyed by sapphaire glacials and ruby harvest?

One easy way to catch them is to "stand on the spot they are in" and than click on them.

It is not hard if you figure the exact spot which the butterfly respawn and than you would stand on the spot the butterfly respawn in and you can catch them easy.

Just place/position your mouse at your character torso and when they appear, just click on them, simple and fast.

On a side note, I seem to find black warlock and snowy knight much more easiler to cacth than their counterparts.

right clicking makes it easier, if you can right click them, you got um. Even if they move you can still click 'catch' on the box(when you right click) and than you'll go chase after it :)

Lol, that's what I did to examine butterflies behind the lumby yews. :) It is much easier than clicking and running to the spot unsuccessfully clicking anything.
