Well I'm thinking of getting one, but I don't know much about them and I'm just wondering if they are good all round weapons, for training and PvP etc.

 

 

 

By the way I'm talking about the 20m SS not the 100m Godsword.

I have heard it is as fast as a whip or d scim with the same str bonus as a whip except the lacking ability to use a rune defender, dfs, or obby shield. So you would think it would make as an awesome training and maybe even pvp wep. however i also heard it is very inaccurate making less effective than a d scim for training and horrible for pvp. So thats what i have heard and my thoughts on the wep.

Yes, it is the same speed and power as whip with the added bonus of being able to train str and actually having a good spec attack

 

I'm tempted to just get it, but with unstable prices I really want to be sure I'm doing the right thing.

I'm sure one one day of tests wouldn't hurt as far as the cost dropping as Jagex Controlls the prices.

Like what was said before me a day or 2 of testing won't make you lose any money and if you do it will be insignificant.

 

 

 

I can tell you first hand that its not accurate on 99 defence (lol) at a friends 99 att party I was fighting a guy in the rng and he had a SS he didn't hit much but when he did hit it was a ton. Also the spec works pretty good in PvP too he was hitting 20-19 specs on me and fairly often the spec hit (rarely a 0 in the spec) and all of the time one of the hits were 20+.

 

 

 

I'd say try it out for a day or 2 and then if you like what you see keep it. If not put it back on the market. I'm planning on doing the same with a BGS. Just gotta get around to it.

~Just Super-Pot with a Whip. It's really the safe effect. You can use it if you want to train Strength, but i personally prefer a Whip on Controlled.~

if you have the money then use it. Even if the gps is in a mask. At least you can use the ss, there is not much you can do with a mask. If you buy it and find it is not fun, then sell it. If you enjoy it, keep it.
