[hide=G.E., The Grand Exchange]

It's a great update, I have to say. It connects thousands of people and the merchants and skillers and also normal players could sell/buy their needs easily. We don't have to spam the channel again to buy/sell. The price is around 0~10% higher/lower (mostly lower) and it's reasonable for SOME products (SOME not, I am sure). The system is great and I can't find any problem. Instant trade and safe, no scam.

[/hide][hide=And then, when everything goes on....]

IT WAS A GREAT UPDATE FOR GRAND EXCHANGE. But when it combines with the "Unbalanced Trade Removal", everything went wrong. Jagex control the economy after the update. How dare would I say so? The 3k margin is based on the market price in Grand Exchange. And the price of G.E. is fluctuating. Some prices went wrongly...

[/hide][hide=Now, a rant.]Many merchants have lost great sum of money to the market and the skillers are happy to hear all those news since they can find their supplies cheap again. So surprising. I am not a merchant or skiller, either. But a noob. Actually the prices are stabilized, but what I see is fluctuate. The price went totally wrong when u check out how yew and yew long (also, p hat)performed.[/hide][hide=Not a rant, but Unbalanced Trade is really important.]

Removing Unbalanced Trade can KILL RWT but it also kill merchants and players. Why unbalanced trade is so important? Is it strange? Yes, it is strange but unbalanced trades really affects the whole economy of runescape, people are earning money and spending more money back. The economy was brilliant, everything goes well and smooth.

How about when you go and check the prices and your items(cash included) today? Keep increasing? Or....?

I agree with your statements about GE and 3k Cap. But fail to mention the faulty BH.

The shift of prices certainly damaged significantly to skillers, but its suffered by everyone one way or the other.

Now back to BH...

The fact that you can kill a person and pick up loot regardless of whether he is indeed your bounty or not, and the 170 secs (some1 who BH confirm?) of unable to leave the arena backfires the anti RWT movement.

Well you can say there's another players who'll kill him eventually, but what if they've planned to secure this transaction? What now J?

This is proven by a guy koing someone for d chain in BH.

Total Level 2247- 11x 99s All Combat Skills, Slayer, Summoning, Woodcutting, Herblore

in my opinion, then jagex should really make some higher limits..(the lowest that items can go in price)

All good, actually, not all, prices are not FULLY CONTROLLED by jagex.

If a lot of people sell for low, the price goes down. A lot of people sell for high, the price goes up.

Jagex doesn't directly change the prices. In reality, we do.

It is just Jagex's false propaganda. Look at the cooked lobster price range. There is no way to sell for lower price than the false market price. Obviously no-one buys overpriced items.

Cooked lobs is cheaper than it was b4. PPl just dont want to buy since the market is flooded . If they were to manually override the price and lower it for people like yourself, the problem would only get worse.

We control the prices. But then, the ability of prices to change is so limited that its taken weeks for items to make any sort of major change. As for things like the overpricing of raw food, thats because everyone is using the GE to buy 99 cooking, which lowers the supply of raw food, driving the prices up, while raising the supply of cooked food, lowering the prices. So basically very few people are buying cooked food and selling raw food, in terms of the ratio between them and raw food buyers/cooked food sellers. Supply and demand.

The GE itself is nice, but the slow pace of price shifts is horrid. From that perspective, JaGEx really is controlling the prices. (In that they control how much items can fluctuate each hour/day/week.) Irl: Stock prices can crash in mere hours, from being worth hundreds to virtually nothing. In RS, it takes items weeks to crash or [bleep]e.

There is no meaning or truth in life but that which we create for ourselves.
