A New Game?

Featured Replies

Could someone please recommend me a different MMORPG that they have liked, or have heard of? I'd like something new to play apart from Runescape.

PS. Mods move this to help and advice if it belongs there, wasn't sure.

Hmmm....

I need a new siggy, get round to doing it later.

Probably.

You looking to pay for it or not?

Freewise I heard maple story is ment to be very good.

Paid guildwars, WOW and LOTR online are all good.

A demo would be nice if not paying, I'd like to try things out.

What ever you do, do NOT play maple story. It is complete and utter [cabbage].

I would suggest a free trial of WoW. Just go to http://www.worldofwarcraft.com and you should be able to find a 10 (or 14 day, I forget) trial for the game. You just sign up for an account, and download the client.

Now... on an aside here, the full game is free ;) You can download the entire base game for free and if you decide you dont want to play, you will still have the entire game on your computer. But just remember this, you have to pay for a base membership in order to get a trial for the expansion pack.

Or play WoW on a private server.

Or buy the proper game and get the real experience instead of kill a level 1 boar and get to level 70 and gt full T6 =/

Also, Private servers are illegal, so you shouldn't really be promoting them.

You can't post private server links on tip.it, but yes it's a widely known fact the game probably has as many 'private' players as paying ones. Those are literally everywhere now.

Honestly I don't see what's that good about WoW. I casually played one character to max level in 2006, raided a bit with my guild and friends, then quit out of boredom. Watching my character wack numbers on huge monsters or finishing yet another "bring character X item Y by killing monster Z to recieve experience bonus" quest isn't really all that entertaining. :?

Without a doubt it's the most popular MMORPG though. If you want to play in a huge community, go for WoW.

I would sugest tales of pirates (though the site isnt working right now so sorry but no link)

Not everyone enjoys MMORPG's, no doubt.

I enjoy the challange that raiding and PvP brings in WoW so I play it. Plus I have a great guild with a bunch of great people in it.
