Well here's the problem;

 

 

 

I got hacked on one account and I continuously get hacked even though I changed my password. Thing is, I've cleaned my computer all the time, and still get hacked.

 

 

 

So, I gave up on that account and made a skiller.

 

 

 

The skiller I have is F2P and has been for about 8 months. But I'm going to get members very soon and was wondering:

 

 

 

Seeing as I might get members, there will be only about 20% of what to do as a skiller than there is as a Normal player.

 

 

 

So I ask you guys, should I train combat and magic, slayer and summon?

 

 

 

Prayer and range would be nothing to me as I wont be a pk'er and wont need the stats.

 

 

 

+ I really need those cooking gaunlets, with such a high level cooking for F2P it would get alot better and I'd like to cook sharks with no burn.

 

 

 

Again, I really want to train Thieving, hunter, slayer, summoning, etc. But they mostly rely on combat.

 

People would say "Skillers can do hunter anyway" but only half as well and as quick. Hunter is in many different locations that have high level monsters, E.G. Revenants(Sp?)

 

 

 

Another thing here is the ability to high alch and enchant items; this would help alot seeing as I can barely ever sell my items.

 

 

 

And again; weilding weapons like axes,

 

Going to cut mage logs? SO HARD. To be able to get 28 per inventory would save alot of time and get alot of money in the long run. (Thats over 1k extra per load if I just get my attack to 40/60!)

 

 

 

Another thing is trust, some people wouldn't trust a level 3 because it's a bit suspicious; being an account made for scamming? Merchanting may be hard as people would right click on you and only see green writing on your name.

 

 

 

So should I stay as a skiller, or become a combat'er?

 

With all the advantages of being a combat'er I seriously think only att, def, str, and mage is the way to go.

Fist off i would make 100% sure your computer is clean, lots of advice on that in the tech forums.

 

 

 

As to the question, i would train combat and skill. Theres so much more to do with a complete character that can't be done otherwise. Why pay for something and only use some of it?

I would train combat. Just because you have a combat level above 3 (or 70) doesn't mean you can't be a skiller. High combat has a lot of advantages.

why do you have to consider yourself a "skiller" or combat orientated person... just be a player... look at my stats i do everything... very evenly, and i make the most out of the game

My advice would be to train everything. :

 

 

 

If you like a low combat with higher non-combats you could do something along the lines of a tank, or pure. These stats are with 99 to give you an idea. I'm not suggesting that you must train these stats to 99.

 

 

 

Tank

 

Att- 99

 

Str- 60

 

Def- 99

 

HP- 99

 

Mage- 99

 

Range- 99

 

Pray- 11

 

Summon- 1

 

 

 

You'd be under 100 combat with these stats I believe. Every 8 prayer or summon levels is 1 combat, if you would like to add more.

 

 

 

Pure

 

Att- 75

 

Str- 99

 

Def- 45

 

HP- 99

 

Mage- 99

 

Range- 99

 

Pray- 52

 

Summon- 1

If you have a particular level you would like to stay under while skilling, I suggest that you insert values into the combat calculator until you find something you like. You can also use the xp tables to calculate what your HP level would be. :

I dont want a style of combat (Sorry for wating ya time) 'cause I'm gonna equal all except pray and range :)

I'm curious.. why not range? It's not like it will effect your combat level as if they are all equal, you will be melee dominant. The only effect range would have is more HP levels, which is combined with defence for combat levelling, so it would not have a great effect. If it's just something along the lines of you not liking range, then that is understandable.

I might train range, not in the early stages though.

I'll agree with that. I was a range hater until I reached about level 80. After that it seemed useful, and now I actually enjoy it. If you do decide to train it, I would suggest training with knives. They are relatively cheap, and fast. It can really make the levels speed by. Some might also suggest a cannon, but I personally think that it is not worth it's cost.
