Arms.... Having difficulty. Any crits so far? Tips for arms? Please, share.

first off, that is seriously awesome. Like really, that is so cool. I just don't like his hair. I don't know where you're taking it, and I couldn't help, but I just gotta say that's awesome.

ahh dithering on his arm doesnt match very well with the shading and dithering on his chest etc. work on that a bit, but besides great job. dont really know what to say, just fix that and get on to the other arm. :P

Bulging shoulders are teh ugly. They already bulge a bit much right now...I like the head. Its styling. Just cause its not beautiful dosnt mean its bad. Hard to explain...

hey dude, just checkin the boards, lookin mad dude, 1prob his right forearm is longer than his left, but it doesnt matter that much, other than that, looks mad!

I'll start with the fact that I really think the guy is ugly as hell >_< But that could be because I dislike big hulky, neanderthaler guys with huge underpants. Now, when I looked at it better, it could be that he isn't almost nude, but is wearing some kind of armour, because of the line all around the neck. If that's the case, you should add colour to show this, or a difference in the texture on the armour and the skin (Metal has a lot stronger contrast then skin).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Another thing that bothered me was that the guy was very symmetrical making it somewhat boring. If the axe was slightly rotated. And why is the axe not sharp? You should show that with better shading to.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Overall the pic is not all that great to me. Poor composition, big hulky guy (:P) and it could do with better shading. I'd rate it 'bout 5/10 for now.
