Skill monsters: Why don't we get exp for fighting them?

You get 1 exp per about 10 hits. I know, I watched my experience go up little by little. I got about 5 exp off a Cave golem

I think it's rather to do with that you're skilling, not fighting monsters. So there may be a reward for killing the monster, but nothing more than that.

Well, pretty much because you get them BY skilling therefore it is LIKE skilling. I actually don't see the logic but I'm quessing that's why. :mrgreen:

you get 1xp per fish fished or coal mined

 

but to the topic i think it because if your afk they dont really want to reward you to much -_-

 

and your not really trying to get str/att/def/range/mage up

Ok so first of all, what are the skill monsters?

 

 

 

Second, i know in Miscellania, with cutting the maples, you get 1 xp per 10 logs cut, don't know about anything else

I got like 1 mining xp from like mining 10 coal rocks.
