I don't mind spending some money to get this done ASAP, but I don't want to spend heaps. What's the quickest route to get this complete?

Plant the best tree/fruit tree seeds you can.

 

 

 

I get a ton of seeds from Manage Thy Kingdom, I have 73 Farming without ever buying a seed. I basically break even with Manage Thy Kingdom (with coal and maples) and get a free set of seeds every week. :P

Also plan kwuarms every now and then, they good money and exp

 

Replant every 90 minutes or so.

buy snapdragons and grow them, and you make like 100k+ profits per run!

 

same as ranarr, except you use snaps ;)

Herbs are for cash, you wont be seeing much in the way of experience by planting/harvesting them.

 

 

 

Trees and fruit trees are easy, take very little of your playing time, and you get a sudden rush of xp when you check and replant each day.

Also don't forget the garden pie, in tersm of leveling. Its quick +3 boost is very useful when going after levels. In terms of power leveling, I've heard good things about that vinesweeper game. With tree seeds, the fruit trees are good, but the slow growing time is an issue. I've found low level seeds like acorns and willows to provide excellent xp for the money.
