June 18, 200818 yr I want to know what items can give me a smithing bonus: I know of dwarven stouts (or is that mining?) and the RFD stews. I accidentally started Devious Minds, which requires 65 smithing and I only have 55. I really hate smithing and unfortunately I really hate having those dumb "yellow quests" in my log, so I'd like to just do it...Is there any way I can get a higher bonus than 6 (from a stew) for smithing? And if 6 is all, I'll need to get from 55-59, so any recommended methods? I do want it to be quick and painless, like a bandaid. But I'm also a bit strapped for cash, so...toss me some ideas! Thanks for reading and *hopefully* replying :)

June 18, 200818 yr Don't try to get a +6 bonus from a stew, getting 61 and trying to get a +4 bonus is still faster I think. Levels > boosts.

I knew stews were extremely unreliable...is it that bad? I must say I don't agree with you in smithing :P Just kidding. I suppose if I'm going to go for a few levels anyway I might as well get 2 more. dwarven stout (m) gives a 2+ boost Oh yeah forgot about that...how do you mature it again? I forgot.
