RAPIDSHARE

Featured Replies

Yes, as many of you that use this board know that Rapidshare is a file .rar compressing thing. Well I have a quick question...

Is there anyway to bypass the 1 hour time limit for free users without buying the premium version?

Also note I'm running on wired internet, which means my IP is static (I think).

Here's the link if you can't recall of this site: http://www.rapidshare.com/

Rapidshare is not just for .RARS, .zips, .mpegs and even .jpegs are on those servers. They do not compress anything

In short, there is no way bypass the *Free* limit short of paying for unlimited downloads especially on a static IP, even on an Dynamic IP, rapidshare usually will say you have used X amount of downloading and to come back at X time, as they do IP logging in IP Ranges last as I remember.. Time is a free price to pay for free downloading, and those files will still be there after the time expires, unless of course they are violating rapidshares T.O.S

You can use a very fast proxy for quick access, I know a few but I'm not sharing. By the way unlike what Das said, if you have a dynamic ip and change it, you can download with no wait. I suggest buying premium, it's pretty cheap and download speeds are mind blowing, must faster compared to those when you download for free.

Yes, there are some, think about it yourself --- how do some websites know the details of my previous browsing, like knowing I had just searched for COMPUTER in Amazon?

Besides IP address logging, they will also check this as well, so you have to do both

That's all I know, and I'm not sure whether they've changed their protection schemes since I download from rapidshare rarely. Anyway, I'm not going to give you any explicit instructions, but I've already given you a very great hint. Think about it yourself and pay if you can't do it
