ShadowTheHedgehog
Hey guys, i'm looking for some ways to train magic at lv 67. i would like to at least break even while training, profit is nice but i'll settle for breaking even. just a note, i can not train slayer with magic right now as i'm in the middle of an iron dragon task which i'm puttin on hold for the moment, so that method of training is out of the question. any places i can train magic to break even or profit with lv 67 magic? toast647
Alching, curse failing, killing blue dragons with fire bolt. You make a bit using fire bolt at blue drags, 70 agility helps. Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool
ShadowTheHedgehog
blue dragons are usually packed, and i'm not in the mood to world hop a ton for em. curse failing is a money lost deal while alching is just a nusance (sp?) for me. any alternatives to those? i've figured barrows as a half decent way as i can kill the brothers realatively easily with fire bolt but....any other suggestions are welcome
ovorette
Using Magic Dart at Barrows would be even better. Any reason you don't want to mage that iron dragon slayer task? Say, using chaos gauntlets? Just curious.
Distracted
Just go to Blue Dragons in Ogre Enclavement, they're barely ever crowded (max I've seen there is two people excluding me), and there's 4-5 dragons at all times. And it's relatively close to a bank: Yanille.
whatisup618
Mage Training Arena! I went from 60-71 getting a mage's book and i went from 75-almost 77 getting bones to peaches so its not a bad deal. Just curious. It's nuisance. In any case I would look up DJay's method for salamanders at barrows. CHeap ammo, decent training great profits. Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again

Not that I know of... I guess you mean someone else :P . I did use a salamander at barrows once, it hit quite good. (max is 25% of magic level) This was a guide for using salamanders at barrows, but I guess it got deleted by the great rollback. Also, I'd like to note that salamanders only have a defensive mage style, meaning you will get 2xp/damage done.
