I died on swan song to the 170. Twice now, is all my gear gone now? when you die on a quest is it the same death? God plus i lost my [bleep]ing lvl 3 clue. Probably another 250k at least gone.

P.S. I easily completed swan song with lower stats than I have now...how did you die?

great what a stupid thing. Now I have to spend a couple hours finding all my gear to now.

I died and lost ~10m during 'Smoking Kills' as I lagged out when the rangers started attacking.. -.-

 

 

 

Just work the money back and try again, that boss isn't TOO hard..

Um.....i really don't see how you died, i did it at level 86 with swordfish and almost died myself, but still managed to pull it off. Maybe, post your equipment and we can see what you did wrong if you want to try again.

yea that thing was super hard to beat. I'd rather solo saradomin in god wars. I hit 16/17 0s in a row. I hit one 4 in there. Fighting with bandos god sword, Maxed stats, and a super set. I think my account is glitched or somthing.

Something went wrong hardcore, the boss isn't superhard to beat...

same thing happens in duel arena, ill rape kids till its 1 on 1 and ill take 2nd place... like 50+ 2nd place finishes. I usually beat all the 110-130 kids like nothing. Then lose to a 90 who has worst gear then me.

So frustrating though. I'm done complaining after this but, The only reason I was doing one small favour, garden of tranquality, and swan song was for a clue. What a waste of time.

man, you've gotten this far already, what if you get another level 3 clue, u'd just be twice as discouraged. Finish the quest, bring like a whip and sharks, nothing else and show that boss whos boss. Come on, don't give up.

When I'm in-game, I always assume that I can die, unless it's a "safe" mini-game. I realize that no one likes to die and lose their stuff. But I combat that by assuming that I will, and preparing for that, be it with limiting my gear so that my best gear is the 3 I keep upon dying, to making sure that I can somewhat easily replace whatever I'm walking around with, even on quests.

 

 

 

When I died in the final boss battle set in RFD, I lost a couple of Ahrims pieces (back when they were still worth a lot). I made sure that I had back up gear and I got right back in there and beat that boss. :D

weird, why does everyone have to prepare for something. I have 250 quest points, and the most i've ever prepared for a fight is, whats the best attack against it (range, melee, magic), then i put on what i can muster from my bank and then i find the closest fishing spot, lmfao. I only ever die once in a quest, for rfd, i ran in there with the worst junk armor and spells ever, and it still only took me 2 tries.

Yeah, I don't save my best gear in my bank...if I did, what's the point of having it? To me, if you have the best gear, you have it so you can survive, so I use the best gear I can when I can...sure, I've died a lot, lost millions, but I just come back and do better than ever. But I don't see how you can have 10m+ worth of gear, maxed stats, and die to a boss that level 80's can beat.

TBH i think it was bad luck

 

 

 

I brought tons of stuff supet set, food, and my same gear to fight him. didn't eat once hit 3 times on me...
