firestrike Posted June 23, 2008 Share Posted June 23, 2008 Hi To everyone that will look at this, I am faced with the problem of soon being able to recieve skyletal wyverns as a slayer task yet having no idea how to kill them effectively. from what i have gathered from tip's bestairy i need an elemental shied (as i dont have the 22m Dragonfire one :( ) But Do i kill these guys like fighting iron / steel dragons? Should i just take anti-fire pots, prayer pots sup str and attk pots and some backup food? And some good prayer gear + a decent attacking outfit? Or.... Can you tell me what to do thanks! and ps. What is better dragon slayer gloves, or barrows gloves when killing dragons. I just use Barrows gloves as the F.O.G gloves dont seem too useful to me. I actually only got my first ever task this week and I've been over 72 slayer for...ages. I just blocked them, so I guess I'll never have to worry about it :lol: You could just do the same whenever you first get assigned. I have no idea how bonuses work, but isn't the 10% from the gloves worth more than the 12 strength(I think0 and 14 or so slash from barrows gloves? Again, I have no idea how these things work. cat666 Posted June 24, 2008 Share Posted June 24, 2008 Personally I just blocked them forever. :) Yeah they own you big time unless you exploit the range safespot, but even then it's risky. I'm at reasonable levels and still struggled to get a decent amount killed via melee. As for blocking them it's 100% up to you. You don't get them very often so it may not be worth the total block if you have other beasts you hate even more.
