June 24, 200818 yr Does it have any relation to a 'Chewed bone' like the ones used on Pyre Ships? I got one in the Ancient Cavern, and I couldn't find it on the item database.. EDIT: I found out it is used.. But where are they Pyre spots located? ~Zackdt
June 24, 200818 yr If I remember correctly there appears some lvl 100 something ferocious spirit which attacks you when you burn it. Not sure though.
June 24, 200818 yr Author Yeah, I read that you have to kill a ferocious spirit when you burn it, but how do I burn it exactly? ~Zackdt
June 24, 200818 yr I think it is these that generate angry spirits that you must kill when you pyre them. But...i dont think they drop dfulls.
June 24, 200818 yr I don't think that you get anything other than an attack from the spirit when you burn these...but I'm not sure about that. June 24, 200818 yr There's a specified spot a bit north of Otton's hut, called a "Pyre spot" or something similar. ~It's Super Effective! June 24, 200818 yr If I remember correctly there appears some lvl 100 something ferocious spirit which attacks you when you burn it. Not sure though. vouch! Thanks, killed it, and got two steel bars.. Can anyone confirm, if Chewed bones are the only way to pyre a D Full? There are 3 ways that I am aware of: Mithril Dragon drops, Chewed Bones, Mangled Bones. G.E. and player trading are obviously also valid ways to obtain a D Large, but those aren't spawned.
June 24, 200818 yr Thanks, killed it, and got two steel bars.. Can anyone confirm, if Chewed bones are the only way to pyre a D Full? Yes, but it's very rare. Rarer than the mith dragon drop rate of it. ~It's Super Effective! June 24, 200818 yr Author I've heard it was the opposite.. A friend of mine is an experienced mith dragon hunter, and has gotten two from Pyre.. ~Zackdt
June 24, 200818 yr Yep the rate is lower from the bones I think. However with the bones them selves being a reasonably rare drop the mith drags they are hard to come by. However If you had a chewed bone for every drag you would/should, luck depending. Get a dfull from a bone first.
