Lets say your level 81 woodcutting. Would you rather cut 10k Maples, only making about 460K, OR about 5k yews and make over 2 mil? Thanks for any help.

5k Yews, because it's prob faster in the long run. 10k Maples will be awfully slower, trust me.

 

I'm 9k xp from 81 Woodcutting myself, (currently getting to 85 mining, woo, just got 81 ;))

It would depend. If I needed the money, Yews. If I didn't and I just wanted to get it over and done with, Maples.

I'm going to make a scale for this thread 100% is very slow, 1% is very fast cutting. Let's say yews are 100% speed. Maples would have to be less than 50% speed to be worth it, as you're also losing a lot of money.

 

 

 

Maples in reality are closer to 60-65% speed relative to yews using this bogus scale I'm making as a visual aid. So it would be ridiculous to lose money, as well as getting slower experience.

 

 

 

They both pretty much attract the same large crowds, anyway.

I would rather do willows till 95 then Yews till 99.

 

 

 

But since that isn't the choice I would say go with the Yews anyway.

Well you could collect whiteberries and such too, and farm herbs.
