C/c please?

Many believe that the 1980 eruption of Mt. Saint Helens was a catostrophic geological event, in reality it was the day that Jimi Hendrix returned to Earth from the next world and actually stood up next to a mountain and chopped it down with the edge of his hand.

Quite good, compared to others of yours....The render is warped though, and needs to be blended. When you add c4ds of fractals don't place them there. Blend and distrot them. Try that, i would like to see V2.

Not great in my opinion. The colours of the fractal background (which looks pretty simple and not like you did a lot of work to it, by the way) just don't match those of the render, and the render seems distorted. Always keep the proportions when resizing, otherwise it will just look terribly stretched. You also need to remove some of the fractals from the render, and find a better way to blend. Just randomly putting stuff on top of it isn't going to work. The signature could use a border and better text too, but that's not the biggest of issues.

Oh and don't be discouraged by this, the only way to get better is seeing what you could improve on, working on that and practising, practising a lot.

Jopie, the render was that size. ;)

from what i see, all you did was put a fratcal, and put a render at 50% opicity on top

things to do in the future

-the render should stay at 100%

-blend the render with the background, you did none of this

-choose better renders

-there is no flow, with the picture, try adding some gradients on color burn

hope that helped

Could you give me the link to the original render?

- Overuse of crappy fractuals

- Too many colors

- Crappy Image quality for the guy, and he is skewed.

- Text doesn't fit

Really not very good at all, and I don't even know if you made the fractuals.

Well your fractal style doesn't go well with this render to be honest and the flow isn't good, I can't really judge the colours (Duo crappy monitor) but it doesn't look like they match the render at all, the render should be at 100% (As mentioned) and the fractals shouldn't cover the important spot of the render that much (Face etc.)

It's decent  but it's tons of flaws :|.

Nadril, Jopie and Stilev posted some amazing tips/C/c and I highly suggest using those.

Also don't use the same style as your brother, it would be a lot "cooler" and original if you used a different style ;).
