I personally think a great way to show off the new graphics will come from adding in a mage somewhere who can allow you to re-watch old cutscenes. Therefore allowing us experienced players to re-see everything from romeo and juliet to a tail of two cats in its new splender

 

 

 

That's a pretty good idea, and it also made me think of a mage that would show gameplay as it is now, so we can look back later and think how much Jagex (and RuneScape) has improved.

Very true. I would prefer priffindas anyway. Those crystal gates are very alluring.

Though it is likely they all may come in the near future.

 

 

 

Priffindas by all description in book is aamazing, so amazing the current detaisl probably couldn't do it justice. Perhaps Jagex has been holding off for that reason?

 

The Eastern Lands are implied to not just be an island but a whole second continent. If this is so why would Jagex wish to make a huge land mass with all new landscapes and many towns etc simply to have to remake them?

 

 

 

Its a bit of a longshot, but both the eatsern lands and priffindas have obvious reason for being delayed until the new graphics especially when jagex have been looking into/developing these graphics for 2 yrs overall.

Jagex better upgrade the game engine to decrease the lag/disconnections many players are having or I feel they're gonna get less members soon until they fix it. I disconnect 50+ times a day now. I even recorded it. 25 disconnections in 1 hour, 39 minutes. Times that by two and you have atleast 50 disconnects a day. I've had eye twitches for the last 2 weeks because it's stressing the *enter bad word here* outta me.

 

 

 

If nothing's being done about it soon, i'm cancelling membership till they get off their backsides and do something about it. Right now, I would rather wish Jagex to stop the lag and disconnections going on and let me play freely than to have improved pixels. That is how bad the situation is right now.

 

 

 

And no i'm not exaggerting about the 50 disconnections a day either :roll: I wish I could say I was :cry:

 

 

 

And for future remarks saying it's just me or my computer, no, it's not just me, check the tech support forum on the RS forums, you'll see why. At first they had a stickified post named "RAM/DRAIN CONNECTION LOSS PT2." they then asked for system specs from everyone. They got them and said they were going to talk to the tech team about it. They then came back a few months later saying they'll have the results by Friday the 20th of June, which was EIGHT days ago. They then HID the sticky so we could not give reference to the *promised* results and they haven't spoken about it since.

 

 

 

So after their broken promise and delaying tactics, it better be resolved with this graphics update or they'll have hell to pay from me :evil:

 

 

 

I never lag or dc. and my computer isnt even that great...

 

Try contacting your ISP? I have maybe 50 disconnections per year. And half of them are a result of trying to do too many things at once on this old piece of [cabbage] computer. :wall:

I have to train and do these uber quests :D

 

 

 

By early July I sure as heck hope they mean July 1-5. Ive been waiting!

You need to fix your ISP. If we were having it that bad, you'd know it from us.

 

 

 

Maybe they might be holding something back for this graphical update, but this isn't a necessary as, say, the engine overhaul. So I somewhat doubt it.
