All I hear is constant complaining about every update. The graphics one is the latest. Its only been out for less than 24 hours! Of course there will be bugs. I can't stand when people seem to judge something before they try it. Some people are like an ex-Girlfriend who you can't please, they complain about everything that doesn't matter and is old news.

 

 

 

I still hear people complain about the wilderness and dueling updates that are nearly 6 months old.

 

 

 

 

 

I just wish for one update, people would be happy. A game is meant for fun, If you can't see that then you really should get out more.

And yeah as for people complaining.. the "rioters" I've seen saying they want "old runescape" back, when I asked, hadn't even tried low-detail, and were also complaining about no pk'ing..

 

 

 

I can't really complain about anything except the lag, which is just a part of this "test-version" of Rs. Just trying to be patient, and ignoring those people that have flamed me for liking the new update so far.

Agreed. I could understand complaining if these bugs weren't fixed after a week, but it's only been...What, 9 hours or so? People need to relax and be thankful for what they get. But of course, some of the children are the worst friggin' brats in the world, whilst the grateful others are thankful for what they get...I try to ignore these rioters and ignorant people...However this basically never really works...

Yeah. I do have a few complaints, but i'm not going around complaining about it :\ these people are blowing it way out of proportion

I had some complaints about it, but I let em go cause there's nothing to do about it. I don't understand why people think they have to ruin the way other people play just so they can think they will get their way.

 

 

 

Off Topic: Wanna fix the lag? Go on the RuneScape Main Page, find "Play Now" towards the top and roll your mouse over it. Select Java options, and change it to either of the unsigned Java applets. BOOM, no more lag, fixed it right up for me :) .

Jagex should have put the definition of beta test in big red letters that automaticly center in your screen for 20 seconds so they can explain that its BETA. OF COURSE THERE BUGS! THATS WHY ITS BETA!

 

 

 

Actualy I havent seen many complaints. My only issue is the sheer ammount of connection it seems to use. I definatly could play low detail and run a 200 kb/s download before, and definatly cant do it in HD. But since that sort of situation comes up practicly never, and never for long, I really dont care.

But to respond to the OP: You'll find crybabies in any game you play. MMORPGs just happen to congregate them together. (NOte: I'm referring to the rioters, not people who give constructive feedback)

Crying over spilled milk doesn't make the milk come back. Although it's easy for me to say "just get over it and move on" that's the thing to do with the old wild, ex-girlfriends ;) , and crap in life in general.

Just goto any free world. There is always a line of players screaming to bring back the wilderness. Like Jagex will hear their calls. I just laugh at them. Whatever makes them happy.
