Guthans armor help.. is it worth it?

:ohnoes: Alright, i bought the guthans set for market price on the g/e.

 

 

 

All i want to know is if i train with it, will it be worth the 7.4m or should i sell and stick to rune and what not. im level 97 and im NOT doing slayer with guthans. so let me know before i have to repair it :

Guthan's isn't armour to just train with, the spear is a relatively bad weapon. Guthan's is mainly used on slayer tasks or during camping, so if you're doing neither of those, your money would be better spent elsewhere.

ya because slayer is all about camping for periods of time and the guthans set is best suited for that

Don't use rune though. You got 7m, buy some good armor. Torags is pretty cheap for a great defense. Just don't buy the weapon and use your Whip/whatever you use with a Defender.

Now with summoning, I think that Guthan's is almost obsolete.

 

 

 

From what I hear, bunyips own Guthan's.

 

You may want to sell and then invest that money into leveling summoning at access bunyips and the other familiars which heal you regularly.

cept if you wanna do summoning, its recommended you do slayer for charms, and if you do slayer for charms, you should bring guthans

That's going off what you've heard, from what I've personally seen, you still need guthans in some cases. Also, sometimes I personally find it more fun to use a combat familiar over bunyips for dust devils, fire giants, and what not...

 

 

 

It's generally a bad idea to buy something and then look for a use for it...but if you plan on getting your slayer up in the future, Guthans really helps a lot.
