May 30, 200521 yr Once the NPC you talk to in the bank says "Good day, how may I help you?" there should be another option saying "donat to:". Then you enter a name of a player and you can donate him/her the given items without being able to take his/her stuff or see it.
May 30, 200521 yr This just makes hacking people and transferring the stuff, as well as transferring items to another character that belongs to you easier. RSN: Mutashi
May 30, 200521 yr err... so if im fishing at karamja (f2p look on this, bear with me), and my friend's in edge, and needs food... i can just go to a bank, and throw him food? besides tele noobs in the wild, that'd almost wipe out the reason for teleporting completely in f2p :P Besides, zezima's bank would be stockpiled with millions of chicken eggs and burnt bread in half a second. And, love or hate him, that would just be brutal...

May 30, 200521 yr Okish idea but like Steidnar wrote we would have problems. Domovoi123-Level 80 f2pNoxious 0ne-Level 46 f2p
May 30, 200521 yr Maybe you cant transfer to someone who went on this computer last (say you went on your main then you went on your noob one) Because people in real life get their friends to go on they're noob account and transfer from their main so theres no difference in this bank idea. How would it ruin the wild? you have to go to a bank which is outsite the wildy (or mage arena where no-one can attack) to get the food anyway! Also about zezimas bank theres also called something called "accept donation"?
May 31, 200521 yr Angel, there's some inherent problems in your idea, too...for example, what's to prevent someone from making three characters? Then, they log into Account A, see what they need, log into Account C so that A isn't the last logged, then log into Account B that has what they need, then transfer. As for the accept donation, that'd be even worse for Zezima; instead of dropping a billion or so junk items, he'd spend all day rejecting tens of thousands of donations. It'd be nice if JAgex could figure out a noob-proof offline trading system, but seeing as there's nothing in RS that's noob-proof, I don't see it happening. --Darg-- Part of the Star Traks network. It Would just make it easier to transfer it wouldn't make it more popular. I guess you were right about that. BUT I have an idea about the item accept. you could have a mail box to scroll through them in your bank AND a friends-only option. That would help :)
May 31, 200521 yr Hey guys, transferring between 2 of your own accounts is against the rules, like it or not (see the debate on this subject in the General P2P forum here). So there will never be an offline trading system because it would make it very easy to break that rule. What they need is an offline messaging system (why not integrate it to the game as a Post Office ?). Would also reduce the amount of people sharing personal contact info (IM, e-mail...).

June 2, 200521 yr it would make scamming easier tho. with the friends only donations option, after some1 has got the chars password they just add their char to the list then do the transfer. it would also to an extent, influence transfering items between chars owned by the one person, which jagex hates.

June 4, 200521 yr funnily enough jagex sed in upd8s sumwhere ages ago they were planning bank trading... CANE Just to be different. Think about it. A freaking Dragon Cane with a Dragonstone gem.The spec will simply your character equiping a glove and beachslapping the enemy, who will break down and do the Cry emote for 10 seconds straight.
June 4, 200521 yr Bank trading was replaced with bank notes and was going to be the same as trading now, meaning both players had to be logged onto the same world at the same time, but instead of trading through inventory it would have been through the banks. --Darg-- Part of the Star Traks network.
