I'm smithing from 50-70.. It's like 26k+ steel bars... Which is a better place to smith? Edgeville or Port P?

Edge if you can. Plus, the armour helps speed it up any way, so you might as well combine the two.

The main drawback of Edgeville is that you have to click the door to be able to enter the furnace. Only one player at thetime can click the door to get in or out.

 

 

 

Especially when more people are smelting, this can seriously slow you down. Not even counting the annoyance.

 

 

 

So even while Edge is closest to bank, on busy worldt you'll be better off in Port. The Varrock armour works everywhere, so no worries there.

The smelting special of Varrock Armour works only in Edgeville furnace.

 

 

 

The faster smithing on anvils works everywhere, though.
