spudrow
Is it possible to retrieve Summoning skills when being a skiller (more or less, just a 10hp character)? I've still got alot to read regarding Summoning but I think it boils down to the need for charms, which are untradeable. I know you can thieve charms but how often is it possible and what are some good areas for that. So, is it logically to say it is possible to gain a high amount of Summoning skills (say, 70 or so) for a character that has 10hp?
Kazel
It would undoubtedly be very hard, long, and boring. Doable, yes, but not fun. I'm assuming you know that Summoning raises your combat, so I'm not sure why a skiller would want to do it, but to each his own I suppose. If you wanted to do it, I'd recommend Dorgeshuun chests. Not really sure if there is any other way (someone correct me if I'm wrong). SLAYERGEEK

To clarify the matter, I'm not your average skiller, as seen from my signature. I have the obvious 1 att/def/str/pray/range & 10 hp, but I've gained magic attributes. My combat level will be 50 when I achieve 99 Magic. However, if I found it logically, I could have a combat level of 60 if I decided to spring for 70 Summoning. F0TH
I think you could use TOG as well to do this. As if i remember rightly it does not level stats that are 1, so if summoning is your lowest skill it should go onto that. Dont forget your skill lamps as well. To 99 mage, you should get a decent amount of lamps no matter what method you use, especially alching if you stay away from pest controll (no randoms). Knight_Zaros
you can lootshare charms also someone bursts rock lobs you get charms he gets charms but he probably wont like that He wont have prayer or defense at all so bursting rock lobbies wouldnt be that smart. Not to mention i dont even think he can get there with 1 attack/strength/defense because its a quest location unlock right? None the less you can get charms by thieving which is slow. Also use all your lamps, etc. in the skill. If you'll really going to go after 99 magic you could easily get 70 summoning off of the charms from that alone. Just fire bolt/wave at metals once it comes time. I have lvl 73 summoning and 75%+ of my exp is from charms I got at metals and I'm not even lvl 99 magic yet. The_Gabe
well, I'm fairly sure you could use brews to *try* to mage it to rock bursting spot, and have someone burst with ls, and both of you would get charms.. Would be hard though. Three months banishment to 9gag is something i would never wish upon anybody, not even my worst enemy.

spudrow
Doorgushkan chests are a non-combat way of getting charms. Since this is the 2nd remark on this, I'll ask further details. Where are these located and what level to thieve them?
Lenticular_J
They're inside Dorgesh-Kaan. I can't remember what quest you need to access the city itself, but it may actually be combat-related. They're scattered in a lot of the houses, I can't remember which ones. They require 52 Thieving I believe, and a lockpick. I'd look them up in Tip.It's guide, but it won't load for me. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
Bad911
The quests you need to achieve: -Death to the Dorgeshuun -The Giant Dwarf -The Dig Site -Another Slice of H.A.M. Skills you need to achieve: -Level 15 Attack -Level 25 Prayer -Level 23 Agility -Level 25 thieving -Level 10 herblore. -Level 33 magic -Level 16 firemaking -Level 12 crafting These are the requirements for the above quests. As you can see, you need 15 attack in order to weild the ancient mace in the last fight and YOU HAVE TO DO DAMAGE in order to "negate" his prayers. Danqazmlp
If he's mage based wouldn't the att levels not gain him any levels anyway? Want to be my friend? Bad911
If he's mage based wouldn't the att levels not gain him any levels anyway? Well asianboy just said he didn't need to finish the quest, only start it. The requirements for "Another Slice of H.A.M" is 25 prayer and 15 attack which he might not need if he only wants to get access to the drog city. spudrow
If he's mage based wouldn't the att levels not gain him any levels anyway? I can gain, I believe, up to 4-5 levels in other combat-based skills and be safe but I dare not even risk one for that matter. If I decide this isn't a hopeless cause, I'll try out the quest (as I've done the other prerequisites besides HAM) and report back.
ZOMGZORZ4427
I think you can only get charms via thieving from the high level chest at level 78thieving...Not to sure, however I would love to see a skiller with 70summoning and a god bird pet  Draynor.net Dynamic Signature
