I'm here to offer a little common sense advice to some players who are hunting the steel dragons with melee, or irons.

 

 

 

It is exasperating to have the iron dragons keep bombarding you with their firebreath so you cannot attack the steels.

 

Well I have a tactic, it's small but it has helped me.

 

While I was killing steel dragons, I obtained some rune javelins.

 

When the dragon was too far, I equipped the javelins and put on longrange and attack the steel.

 

In retaliation of course I get hit by firebreath, which guarantees that The steel dragon is after me and no other dragon can get me.

 

 

 

Only downfall is, if you cannot reach the steel dragon before someone else, oh well. Or keep attacking with javelins till you reach it.

Also thats quite obvious really.

 

And would really annoy me if someone stole my drag using this method.

A good point, although this kinda thing may annoy other players. Personally I get stressed when people steal my dragons, and by doing so it may appear you're doing the same.

 

 

 

I don't see what's wrong with killing both dragons. Neither are that difficult, and both have good drops :)

This would be in Player-made Guides, but it is not comprehensive or detailed enough.

 

 

 

Please feel free to repost it there when you have remade the guide to a decent level.
