And going for 83+ And i kinda feel slayer is expensive, Food, barrows repairs , pots etc. So, What slayermaster should i use to get the best tasks? And, When do slayer get really profitable? Range_This11 Posted July 13, 2008 Share Posted July 13, 2008 Use Chaeldar until you reach 100 combat, then use Duradel. Slayer starts getting profitable around 70 or so. One you hit 83 it get's majorly profitable. Rune drops and such really help along the way; most of the monsters you can kill already, drop them. Anyway I've never had a problem since I could use Duradel. But make sure you do Smoking kills great add on to slayer. Once 100+ i recommend Duradel. green9090 Posted July 13, 2008 Share Posted July 13, 2008 If you're losing much money training slayer, you're either doing something very wrong, or pulling out all stops for quicker exp (cannon). Pick up those coins, alch those drops, bring back some good herbs, wear something that's not barrows unless you're healing with Guthan's, and I'd be amazed if you came out behind using a couple super sets and 5k in Guthan's repairs per task. Heck, I've been ranging my safespottable tasks with addy bolts, and I'm coming out ahead. I'v done smoking kills, Using sumona as slayer master.. Unless you're going for 200mil fishing exp, I wouldn't recommend shark fishing... Actually, even if you are going for 200mil, at least do monks. Honestly, if you don't have the money to shell out for Bandos, I'd suggest just grabbing a d skirt and a granite plate/fighter torso and slaying in that. After you get 83 slayer you can get cash that way for Bandos and actually get yourself some useful melee exp in the process.
