I just created a new account, i even haven't finished the tutorial. I planned on making a pure(maybe for bh), but i wondered which one:

 

1: a skilling pure: all skills or 2 skills i can use with each other(like fish the fish and cook the it)

 

2: a combat pure: meelee, ranged or magic or a combination

 

 

 

What do you suggest?

Make it something unique.. Maybe go for a 99 Mage, 10 HP.. Or a single combat stat, and high summoning.. Really though, pures lose out on the majority of the game, and it's much more worth it to own a main account and do everything..

k, maybe i just train combat with fishing and cooking(for food of course)

Okay IMO i think the best pure to have is a ranged pure. You can get about 85 ranged and still go into the low level crater in BH and with 85 ranged there you are most defenitly going to pown. But i would suggest you getting up your cooking and fishing too as getting 85 ranged will cost some money.

IMO pures are useless. Just train a good main character.

Unless its going to be under 70 cb dont bother if it is make a g maul bltizer as its best but pretty much casting blitz will cost more then the loot you get killing the person in lower... :x

From the looks of his sig, he already has a main character and just wants to use a pure to take a break, which is very understandable. So just because high level pures are dead doesnt mean he cannot still be successful with an f2p lower bounty hunter crater. He probably just wants to take a break, so dont hate. ;)

 

 

 

Your best option is to make a lower bounty hunter pure, with range as your main skill. I believe there is a guide somewhere is Graveyard Help and Advice where people more experienced can help you out. Whatever you do, dont train prayer or defence yet. Untill you know what you are doing that is.

 

 

 

Good luck with your pure. And to actually answer your question go with the combat pure. I have never seen the point of being skiller, when you can simply skill on your main. Pures on the other hand you can have some fun in lower crater.

It really depends on wat u enjoy doing more. if u like skills then i suggest just doing them on ur main... unless u want to do something unique. otherwise just do it on ur main. later u will regret making a pure account which is worthless. on the other hand if u make a combat pure u can make him designed to dominate in the lower crater bh which doesnt require much training. it will be more fun to pk once u own. again if u dont find this helpful just train ur main.

If you are going to make a pure, I would suggest making an account for fighting in the low level crater in the bounty hunter minigame. Reason being, you dont need to spend large amounts of time on another account, yet you can still be sucessfull with it. All I would personaly ask is that you not become a strength pure, or an archer pure. There are way too many of thouse kinds of pures and another archer or strength pure would not be anything unique or special.
