Okay, we all know Barrows sets degrade over time and need repaired.

 

 

 

Well mine is down to 25 at the moment.

 

 

 

My question is this, does it give any warning at all before it becomes completely useless and needs to be repaired. I would hate to get caught in a battle against a really tough foe, then all the sudden it is like I have no armour at all. I would have to rely on nothing but dragon boots and barrows gloves to save my hide then.

 

 

 

And yes, I am aware that I can go ahead and repair it now, I still would like to know the answer to this question though.

Yeh, it unequips once it reaches 0, the icon changes into broken pieces. BUT if you have full inventory and it degrades, you keep wearing it 8-)

It won't give you a warning, other than the chat box saying "Torag's helm has degraded!" or whatever you're using. It won't say anything like "Torag's helm is about to break," if that's what you were looking for.
