July 19, 200818 yr Ok, so a while back I got 69 summoning to use a fruit bat. I have an abby spec task, so i decide "hey, why not try to camp there for my 170 kills with my fruit bat!" Well, that'd be great and all, but when i use the scroll in there it won't work. It works outside the tower but not in/around it. I haven't seen anything about restricted areas for the scroll to work in, so I'm wondering what's up. Can anyone help? Also, if anyone knows anymore areas where the scroll doesn't work, could you please tell me? July 19, 200818 yr I'm only 68 summoning so haven't got access to Fruit Bat yet, but I think I read somewhere that the spec for this only works outside. Hopefully this helps!!

July 19, 200818 yr I'm not certain, but I'm assuming it would have the same restrictions as the macaw's long-distance view ability. It involves flying up high, so it makes sense that it can only be used in a big, open space. I guess the GWD is a really huge cavern, or something :|
July 19, 200818 yr Yep, it doesn't work in the slayer tower :x if you want to slay abby demons and use a fruit bat, go to the fairy ring realm ALR. You can use a fruit bat there. It works in Brimhaven dungeon too. My blog
