burn process failed.. i always get it

alright, idunno what is up, but every tiem i try to brun a dvd using nero, it fails, and it allwo sme to play husualy teh first 12 seconds of the movie, then it is done. nothing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have sent in a query to them, been 4 days, so i sent in another. anyone else maybe have a simple fix for this?

Righto. I think i know what you're doing. If you're trying to copy the DVD onto your computer, or trying to copy the disk, it may be scratched. You need some sort of cleaner to clense(sp?) the disk. *cough*happened to me before*cough* it was considerably embaressing, too. :P But anyways. I shouldn't be telling you this but if it is a home-made DVD i can. :D

 

 

 

The cleaner isn't too much these days, either. Or if it isn't scratched the disk/DVD may have a copyright.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And just one thing... Is it getting to around 98-99% and then cancelling?

Sounds to me like you're botching something up buring the burn process.

 

 

 

Post EXACTLY how you're trying to run the burn and we might be able to pin point the problem.

Well you didn't give us much info.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Make sure it is a DVD R that isn't all ready written to, or use a DVD RW

 

 

 

Make sure your using a DVD Burning :lol:
