It was a bug not a teaser, Jagex mod confirmed. The remains are what caused it to be summoned and they aren't needed to summon the creature now, no egg, no new creature. [/topic]

 

 

 

For gods sake, only moderators and staff can end a thread, since people will keep talking, is there really a need for you to think the thread is "[/over]"? No.

It was a glitch which allowed you to summon a karamthulhu before the initail release of summoning. It was fixed by a jagex mod, where if a player tried to replicate the glitch, the message: "sorry, you'll have to wait a little longer for one of those :-)" would appear in your chatbox.

On classic you could spawn zombies with a skull.

 

That seemed kinda random. o.o

 

It was that skull in the wizards tower(forgot which quest).

 

People spawned skellies with it in Lumbridge, which killed all the low levels :lol:

Just to clear some stuff up,

 

 

 

A Jmod made a post shortly after the glitch was fixed, detailing that it was a pet they were planning to add as another reward to the Rum Deal quest, which would've acted like cats do. They eventually trashed it when they began working on Summoning to remake it as a Summon, but they accidentally forgot to remove the tag that sets it to appear on death like Cats do. The only reason the old version is even still in the game at the moment is because said Jmod has one as a private pet on the testing servers. (He was the guy who produced the Rum Deal quest)

 

 

 

 

 

So yeah, it's basically the pre-summoning Karamthulhu Overlord.

I had one of those eggs but I can't remember how I got it. Probably ended up dropping it :|
