I've heard that getting fish from MTK is supposed to be good also. However, with maples you have the chance of getting magic and yew tree seeds from the birds nests. I would put 100% on coal, and 50% on either fish or woodcutting, depending on whether or not you want to take the gamble for seeds, or just get the fish.

Fish>Flax>Coal>Maples>Anything Else

Flax is currently the best, but the price changes so often that you would have to check everyday on it and switch back to fish, which i don't think you want to do that.

Fish is best, and it gives crystal key halves a lot. Also, it gives more gems than coal.

Coal, stinks. It only rised because of rocking out, now that its back to its normal price, its one of the worst investments.

Maples, even worse than all of these. Your MTK "makes" maple logs for you at a price of 56.1gp each, that means you LOSE money. (maples are 46each in G E) The only way this would be a good investment would be if you get a magic seed every 2 days, which never happens, the best you could ever hope for would be 1 magic seed every 4 days.

So 10 on Fish, 5 on Flax.

I enlarged the font in the quote above for a reason. It's all you need to know. And it's cold hard fact if you are selling your stuff in the GE. Coal is 3rd best and therefore not worth putting a single worker to collecting.

Kingdom Management is my main backbone for money.

I stopped it a while ago because I was too lazy to sell flax, but now with the G.E. it's really easy.

I put the resources on full flax, and half coal. and I make pretty good money.

Proud owner of a quest cape.
